Biography
Thomas Patrick Ward is ranked as the No1 contender with the WBA and is pushing for a world featherweight title shot in 2022.
The 28-year-old is unbeaten in 33 fights and once again showcased his top-class boxing ability with comfortable win on points at Probellum Throwdown, in front of his home fans, in Newcastle in March.
Ward, a former British and NABA-USA super bantamweight champion, turned professional when still a teenager.
