LONDON, FEBRUARY 23 – The major co-promotion agreement forged between Probellum and
Wasserman Boxing now sees the partnership head for the German capital next month.

Abass Baraou takes on Brian Chaves over 12 rounds at the Tempodrom in Berlin on Saturday, March
19 in the second event staged by the two promotional powerhouses.

Probellum, a global promotion and media company, struck a multi-year and multi-fight deal with
Wasserman Boxing in October and staged their opening joint venture in December.

In Ilsenburg that night, Germany’s Denis Radovan stopped Brian Rose of Britain to retain his IBF
European middleweight title.

Super-welterweight Baraou was part of the undercard but next month he takes centre stage when
he takes on Argentina’s Chaves over 12 rounds in the headline bout, in the first show at the
Tempodrom in 18 years.

We’ve promoted three fantastic events at the Tempodrom in the past,” said Wasserman Boxing’s
Kalle Sauerland.

“We’re delighted to return with Abass Baraou, who can become one of Germany’s next boxing

“Following the success of our first event in Ilsenburg, we’re thrilled to be working once again with our
partners Probellum.

“Spectators will be allowed at the Tempodrom, and I am sure that fans will come in large numbers to
experience boxing live in this fantastic setting.”

Richard Schaefer, President of Probellum, added: “We’re excited to continue our partnership with
Wasserman Boxing. This is the second in a series of high-quality boxing events that we will be
promoting together this year in Germany.

“I look forward to seeing Abass Baraou in action as well as the other fights that will be announced in
the coming days.

“Our partnership now continues to gather momentum as we look forward to many more great nights
together with Wasserman Boxing!”
