Ivan Dychko comfortably saw off the challenge of Kevin Espindola in Argentina on Thursday night to extend his unbeaten start to life as a professional.
The giant Kazak won the 10 round contest in Buenos Aires on points, awarded victory by the judges with scores of 100-90 and 99-91 (x2).
Dychko, a two-time Olympic bronze medallist, was boxing for the first time since December and says he is now targeting “big fights” with the world’s leading heavyweight fighters.
A former sparring partner of Tyson Fury, Dychko is now 12-0 (11KOs) as a professional.
The 6’9″ contender signed a co-promotional deal with Probellum and Bulldog Boxing Promotions in early 2022, and the fighter is managed by Elvis Crespo.
