Biography

The great Nonito Donaire is one of the jewels in Probellum’s crown and joined the company when enjoying a career renaissance.

Donaire is a four-weight world champion, a sure-fire future Hall of Fame inductee, and a hero in his native Philippines.

The Filipino Flash has held titles at flyweight, bantamweight, super-bantamweight and featherweight in a stellar run as a pro, which began in 2001.

But Donaire is showing no signs of letting up and won the WBC bantamweight title in late 2021, after a stunning knockout win over Nordine Oubaali, before losing the belt in a huge rematch with Naoya Inoue.

Donaire has now held world titles in three consecutive decades – the 2000s, 2010s and 2020s – and is only the sixth fighter in history to do so.
