One of the best flyweights in the world, Muhammad Waseem is refusing to give up on his title dream.
Having pushed Moruti Mthalane all the way in their 2018 IBF world title scrap in Kuala Lumpur, ‘Falcon’ earned a second shot at the belt against new champion Sunny Edwards.
The pair engaged in a compelling 12 rounder with Waseem further burnishing his reputation despite a points defeat.
As an amateur, Waseem won medals at both the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games and earlier in his pro career, was trained by Jeff Mayweather in Las Vegas.
Waseem is now coached by Danny Vaughan in Dubai.
