Biography
A two-time world title challenger, Liverpool’s James Dickens is hoping it’s a case of third time lucky in his professional career.
Dickens was a national champion as an amateur but turned to the paid ranks in 2011 and has held the British and English super-bantamweight titles.
But Dickens, who holds a win over current world champion Leigh Wood, had his most high-profile fights against Cuban great Guillermo Rigondeux and Kid Galahad, for the world super-bantam and featherweight crowns respectively.
Dickens joined forces with Probellum in March 2022 and delivered a statement of intent the following month by stopping former European champion Andoni Gago.
